Your new company
My client's Game product is currently the global TOP 1 ranked among gaming users, which is stabilised in 2006 by entrepreneurial gamers who believe that player-focused game development can result in great games. Your new role
As Creative Service Lead, you'll be the creative voice of our top Game brand in China: you'll hire, manage, and lead a team of talented professionals that will deliver creative strategies, guidelines and awesome artwork for Esports, Merchandizing, and Game Operations in China. You'll lead the creative direction for Games Team China, leading a team of visual designers and video production pros in crafting high-quality content specially tuned for Chinese players. Deep experience in managing talented creative-types will help you level up their skills, careers, and the content they produce.

What you'll need to succeed

  • You have 8+ years as an art-based creative leader in game, esports, entertainment, sports, or FMCG industry creative services team/department and it has left you hungry to build teams filled with talent and can-do vigor;
  • you have expertise and preferably experience in leading art creative development for digital campaigns, offline events, stage design, physical merchandise products, and packaging
  • Quality-focused: you know why some pieces look and work better than others and can help the game consistently meet and raise our quality bar on art and design
  • A career cultivator: your constructive feedback and committed mentorship improves as well as inspires those around you, helping them shape their careers, and craft their future
  • Strategy-focused: you'll contribute to the conversation surrounding how best to serve China players in terms of community, promotion, and live event efforts Artistic but equally
  • organized: as your teams produce content for different kinds of use (from daily social media purposes to epic content for major initiatives!)
  • you'll be providing guidance in terms of task management, prioritization, and delivery because it's in your DNA
  • A core gamer: your passion for gaming can be felt in most of your big life decisions, from which computer to pick up to where you live;
  • Multilingual: you're comfortable conversing in English and Mandarin
  • Build, mentor, and manage a team of art-based creative professionals from a variety of disciplines and coordinate the future structure of team members for various initiatives
  • Lead the creative service team and outsourcers to deliver awesome artwork, assets, design, style, and guidelines to support publishing campaigns, promos, tournament stage design and offline events, physical merchandising (apparel, toys, action figures, etc.) product, and packaging design Foster an artistic culture within
