• Contribute to the proper implementation of contract signed by trader • Manage the effective delivery of goods to buyers • Prepare various documents needed by contract • Liaise with counterparty to facilitate the implementation of contract and solve problems happened • Cover traffic operations to customers • Solely responsible for accessing and updating shipments • Coordinate P&Ls, stock sheet and exposure • Coordinate handling of all issues relating to traffic

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • 2-4 years’ experience in similar position or less than 1 year experience but really have strong interest in trading business and to work  in a big company like Trafigura. Bright personality,  good mind set, leadership skills are more crucial then years of experience
  • Familiarity with domestic, import and export business process
  • Familiarity with UCP600
  • Understanding of Customs regulations and government’s legislation about import and export business
  • Experienced and expert in working with different cultures
  • Understanding futures market
  • Commercial background, English and Local language excellent oral and written
  • Good command in English, PC literacy e.g. MS Office
  • Good organiser, numerate, effective communicator
  • Ability to be flexible and work to deadlines and under pressure
  • Communication skills and numeral literacy are very important

Key Responsibilities

  1. Direct contacts to customers
  • Written and verbal contacts with suppliers and in particular receivers
  • Visits where required to clients
  • Co-ordinating the shipments with our customers including contract negotiation, signature, coordinating of issuance etc.
  • Letter of credit negotiation according to sales contract terms, as well as amendments (value, expire date, terms) and acceptance where necessary of discrepancies.
  • Arranging for inspection, sampling, assaying and umpire of the various products
  • Preparing for all necessary documentation (holding certificates, bank releases, transport documents, due diligences, stock inspection, insurance, invoices etc.)
  • Checking and arranging payments, claims

  • Opening/checking letter of credit
  • Arranging for documents and collection of payments
  1. Shipping
  • Arranging for the various international transport by sea-, rail-, barge and truck, vessel nominations and acceptances
  • Arrange issuance of LOI where necessary in close coordination with finance and management
  • Approval of vessels to only take place in presence of fully workable letter of credit and in absence thereof coordinate with management
  • Insuring the cargo/transports
  • Being in regular contact with shipping agents
