As a buy-side Sales Executive, you will be charged with generating new sales pipeline for the firm across its suite of buy-side investment management products.

Target firms will include hedge funds, fund administrators, asset managers and Private Equity firms.

Key Responsibilities shall include:

  • Work with senior sales management to develop and define a coherent sales strategy for target market sectors
  • Develop a strong sales pipeline - through cold calling, prospecting and networking
  • Manage sales process from initial engagement to deal closure, leveraging off strong business relationships with clients at the executive level
  • Develop add-on business within a selected client portfolio to ensure that sales quotas are realised
  • Function as a market specialist, staying abreast of developments within the target territory and maintaining awareness of all competitor activity
  • Perform demonstrations/presentations of selected products

Key Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience selling financial software solutions
  • Proven, successful sales track-record
  • Functional understanding of the Asset Management domain
  • Professional fluency in English; Mandarin and Cantonese highly desirable
  • "Hunter" mentality, with the perseverance and tenacity to succeed in a highly competitive market space
