Digital Compliance Manager/ Senior Manager_International Bank

A leading International Bank with strong presence in Hong Kong keeps expanding their business and with the increasingly importance of the compliance functions in Banks, they are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join their Digital Risk and Compliance department to support various digital content teams to approve and provide compliance advice, guidance and training to mitigate the compliance risk on financial advertising materials. Candidates with e-banking experience is definitely an advantage

Description

This post is the person in charge in Hong Kong, reporting to the Digital Risk and Compliance lead who covering EMEA.

Job Responsibilities

  • Review and approval of all digital financial and non-financial promotions materials that are to appear on the public website
  • Advice on solutions to strike a balance between business needs and Compliance requirements to cope with the change in market and economic and the impact on new technology
  • Provide training to educate changes and or developments to the team on updating the changes on regulations and industry that related to financial promotions

Profile

This is a position which requires Strong leadership and management skills, coupled with good interpersonal and presentation skills. You will also be a good team player and an excellent leader who innovates and looks for new solutions to existing problems.

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Business / Finance / Accounting or any other related discipline
  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in banking industry in reviewing and approving financial promotions and other marketing or customer facing communications, Candidates with e-banking experience is definitely an advantage
  • Deep understanding on applicable laws and regulations in related to financial advertising and others customer facing communications

Skills & Abilities

  • Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem solving and negotiation skills, plus ability to work under pressure independently
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in English is an advantage
