My client is a leading European Investment Bank who are looking to add Associates and VPs to the Leveraged Finance Origination team in Madrid as part of plans to grow the franchise’s global footprint.

Despite a challenging market, this Leveraged Finance franchise has remained very active and is enjoying a very successful start to 2023. As a result of their ongoing success, an active pipeline and an ambitious growth forecast, the team are keen to add Associates and VPs to their Leveraged Finance Origination team in Madrid. The team in Madrid works closely with the London Office, covering deals on a global basis and working on a combination of both Leveraged Loans and HY Bonds.

Whilst the Hiring Manager is interested in a variety of backgrounds, they are particularly interested in speaking to candidates with the following backgrounds:

3+ years of relevant professional experience or an Associate or VP/AD in a leveraged finance origination team
Currently working in either Leveraged Finance, Debt Advisory or a Direct Lending/Credit Fund
Fluent Spanish speaker (required)
