Reporting into the Business Development (BD) Director, the BD Manager will focus on the consumer electronics segment in Asia and build strong relationship with potential customers. He / She will research target markets, identify and target prospective leads, make contact and develop sustained business to business relationships. Rendering support and creating proposals / quotes in collaboration with colleagues from other departments, manage and generate weekly and monthly sales production reports for own sales pipeline, organize customer outings sponsored by the company and its vendors to enhance customer relationships and identifying and attending trade shows / conventions representing the company in a professional manner while gathering leads and contacts are part of the job.

Requirements of the role

  • Education background – Recognised Degree (Bachelors).
  • At least 5 years experience in BD / Sales in Consumer Electronics.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, proven track record of successfully pitching for new business.
  • Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads.
  • Good knowledge of market and competitors.
  • Driven and committed.
