Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will ensure the accurate and timely processing of end-to-end payroll on a weekly and fortnightly basis for both permanent and temporary employees, over the three business units. You will also:
- Accurately create and maintain employee files in a confidential manner using Fasttrack and MicroPay.
- Produce end of month reports to the GM and CEO regarding production entitlements, annual leave, and sick leave.
- Contribute to the development of current and new processes and procedures.
- Ensure all enquiries regarding to payroll are responded to in a timely manner that is easily understood.
- Assist in the fortnightly processing of accounts payable, matching orders, coding invoices and data entry.
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in performing end-to-end Payroll. You will also have:
- Working knowledge of current CETTS Award and proven ability in interpreting and application of relevant legislations, policies and procedures related to payroll.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills. With the ability to work effectively within a team environment, built rapport with people from a diverse range of backgrounds.
- Ability to obtain National Police Clearance, Working with Children's Clearance, and Current SA driver's license.
- Computer literacy with experience using MS Office Word, Excel and Fasttrack accounting package.
