Your new role Our client offers more than traditional accounting services and genuinely partner with their clients on each step of their journey to financial success. Due to increasing demand for their comprehensive, commercial, and client-focused services, they are seeking a Senior Accountant who will work closely in high performing teams alongside Managers and Directors with the key duties of:
- Preparing financial statements and tax returns for a diverse range of clients including Companies, Superannuation Funds, Trusts, Partnerships and Individuals.
- Preparing Accounts and associated work-papers / statutory returns, including BAS, IAS and FBT Researching and interpreting Tax legislation.
- Assisting Managers and Partners with business advisory engagements.
- Assisting in managing a portfolio of clients - autonomously liaising directly with clients and being the main point of contact for client queries.
- Overall, you will provide a premium service to our valued clients in a supportive team environment.
What you'll need to succeed
- Must have Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
- CA/CPA qualifications or close to completion
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Up to date knowledge of taxation legislation
- Strong communication and IT skills
- Practical, common-sense approach and a "can-do' attitude
- Totally committed to internal and external client service

- Exceptional problem-solving ability.
