A well-known distribution, television and production company is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their supportive team in their Hawthorn office. This is a full-time permanent position with great opportunities. Are you switched on? Have great attention to detail? Then you may be the next assistant accountant within this amazing organisation.
You will be reporting to the Chief Financial officer.
Your new role
- Receiving and processing vendor invoices
- Processing through financial system to payment
- Payments through CBA online system
- Credit Card reconciliations
- Petty Cash, travel allowance and cash advance reconciliation
- Monthly AP Ledger reconciliation
- Superannuation processing
- Payroll tax calculation and submission
- Work cover calculation and submission
- PAYG withholding calculation and submission
- Month end reports and journal entry
- Daily bank reconciliation duties
- Liaising with managers to ensure all timesheets and leave entitlements are correctly captured, calculated and entered into the financial system
- Be opened to 10-12 weeks training in the office
- End to End accounts payable and receivable experience
- Payroll exposure
- Microsoft Dynamics system experience desirable
- High attention to detail
- Self-starter
- Come in and hit the ground running
