Cost Specialist/Senior Accountant opportunity within a Big 4 banks
Your new company
You will be joining a Big 4 bank within their Retail banking team in this exciting Cost Specialist (Senior Accountant) role. The cost team sits within the Financial Performance Management team in Enterprise Finance to support the Group CFO and divisional managers in decision making processes.

Your new role
In your new role you will be reporting to the team lead and day to day will see yourself complete the following:

Manage monthly financial close
Own and run cost models used to facilitate the planning and outlook process
Provide commentary on current year outlook, variance analysis
Support Divisional Insights Business Partners with financial analysis and reporting to drive decision making
Provide Business level performance management reporting & analysis to ensure that stakeholders are held to account for the Cost Management decisions they make
Analyse business performance and key business drivers to identify and communicate issues requiring action, while taking emerging trends and external market conditions into consideration

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to be CPA or CA qualified. Experience in financial and management accounting within a Big 4/mid tier chartered accountancy or large corporate/ASX listed business will also be needed.
