Hays has partnered with a leading global organisation who are a household name and leader in their field. We are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their growing finance team based in Derrimut. Operating for over 50 years, this company is a forward thinking and innovative leader in their industry and looking to continue their story.
Your new role
In your new role as the Senior Financial Accountant you will be responsible for working with the Finance team to manage key financial reporting and processes while providing insights and analysis.
Some core duties will include:
- Preparation of statutory reports (providing commentary and variance analysis)
- Month-end consolidated journals and accruals
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Sox Compliance
As the Senior Financial Accountant you will need to bring a skillset which will allow you to perform your duties to a high standard.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Business and CA/CPA Qualifications
- Advanced Excel, SQL and Power BI knowledge
- Business Partnering and influencing skills
- Experience with Dynamics365 preferred
