Your new role
Your new company require a qualified systems accountant, to provide systems accounting, reporting and project support services. Key duties include:
- System Administration, System setup and maintenance, user maintenance
- Perform Month end and Year end functions
- Facilitate training and produce process documentation
- Manage the group finance helpdesk, monitor and allocate support tickets, follow up and close outstanding tickets
- Investigate and recommend solutions for: end user application and accounting support queries, ensure applications, environments and process issues are monitored and escalated to various internal and external stakeholders
- Build, maintain and support end user data upload templates, prepare accounting journals and perform data uploads to various systems
- Perform variance analysis, validations and reconciliations across multiple data sources and systems, recommend and present systems accounting solutions to resolve variances
- Adhoc and project work such as BAU change requests, systems and process improvements, assist with implementations, upgrades, migrations, testing and fixes
- Cross training on direct team members critical tasks to act as a backup in their absence
- Assist with Group reporting functions
The successful candidate will need to be highly motivated with a dedicated and systematic approach to resolving emerging issues and committed to continuous improvement. Also, will demonstrate an understanding of finance protocols, principles, and processes. Further requirements include:
- 4 years' experience in an accounting role
- 4 years systems experience
- Full working rights in Australia
- Experience with Power BI
- Fully CA/ CPA qualified
