About this role

Are you an experienced Auditor looking for a short term contract role in Australia to set yourself up for summer? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate to join our Audit team on a 3 month fixed-term contract, commencing mid-July through to mid-October. This role is ideal for a Working Holiday Visa professional looking to build Australian experience.

Key responsibilities

• Drive independent statutory audits of public listed and unlisted companies, proprietary companies, incorporated associations and other not-for-profit entities and government bodies' financial reports
• Create complete and accurate audit work papers
• Identify and report on client financial risks
• Expand your analytical skills to examine clients' financial statements and ensure they comply with statutory requirements
• Investigate difficult technical and application issues to improve client outcomes

Skills & experience

• Experience in similar Audit & Assurance environment with sound knowledge of IFRS and auditing standards
• CA/CPA full qualification or other relevant overseas qualification
• Exceptional client relationship and communication skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and team members within a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
• Forward-thinking approach to drive innovative solutions that enhance efficiency, decision-making, and team member experience
