A leading and well established consulting business is seeking an assistant to support their WA Office.
Your new company
Your new company is a well-established specialist Geotechnical consulting business comprising 190 professional and support staff operating from offices in Sydney, Perth, Brisbane and Geelong. Located in Perth, this role provides administrative assistance across the office.

Your new role
  • Answering phones, professionally responding to queries
  • Receive and distribute emails from shared mailbox in a timely manner
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail, and coordinate couriers
  • Control and order office consumables including stationery, kitchen supplies, field equipment and PPE
  • Provide IT support for phone system and video conferencing requirements
  • Data entry
  • Document editing and formatting
  • Photocopying, scanning, filing and maintenance of records
  • Assist in ordering and organising events (out of office celebrations, morning tea, etc)
  • Support new starter activities such as office tour, passes, security codes, photos, etc
  • Assist in ordering and delivery of office equipment, security services, and general office maintenance e.g. contact building manager with day to day issues
  • Take the responsibility of a Warden and designated First Aider for the office
  • Other general administration tasks as required such as keeping office & kitchen area tidy
What you'll need to succeed
  • Office administration or similar experience or relevant business or business administration qualification
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Able to conduct self in a friendly, professional and punctual manner
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Organised, confident and motivated
  • Able to work well autonomously, or as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and develop professionally
