Join one of Australia's largest customer-owned banks as a Senior Enterprise Risk Advisor. You will join an experienced team whilst working closely with experienced stakeholders.
Your new role
As a Senior Enterprise Risk Advisor, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a strong risk culture as well as;
- Provide operational risk expertise across the organisation to support the identification, assessment and monitoring of risk and control activities.
- Ensuring ongoing compliance with APRA's CPS220 Risk Management Prudential Standard and CPG220 Practice guide through driving continued enhancements and embedding.
- Support business use of key risk management information (MI) tools. This includes supporting the development of dashboards and/or reporting that engages business users and train business stakeholders on the use of these tools.
- Assist the Risk Lead to develop, manage and maintain risk management strategy, risk appetite and risk management framework appropriate to its size, business mix and complexity for the Board, Board Risk Committee and senior management.
- Strong experience working in Risk, ideally Enterprise Risk or Operational Risk
- Expansive Financial Services experience, ideally in Retail Banking
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Solid understanding of risk and compliance principles and frameworks
