This is an 18 month FTC covering a Maternity leave for one of the Senior Managers within a Big 4 organisation.
Your new role
Supporting the business with tax advice and compliance services. Duties and responsibilities include but aren't limited to;
- Responsibility for ongoing indirect and employment tax compliance obligations, including GST, FBT, and other taxes (PAYG, Payroll tax etc)
- Providing technical tax and advisory support to the wider business on tax implications of day to day business activities
- Management of global compliance obligations and monitoring of PE risk
- Support wider Taxes team in relation to income tax matters
- Enhance existing processes and procedures to mitigate risk
- Provide boarder business support to queries in relation to the company's tax policies
- Mentoring and training junior team members
- Skilled tax advisor with 5-6 years PQE
- CA/CPA Qualified
- Self motivated and pro-active
- Previous management of Tax team
- Able to work senior stakeholders
