Work for a major subsidiary of a multinational group, taking ownership of the ANZ tax function and leading the team.
Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Finance you will manage a team of two and together will be responsible for compliance with tax legislation as well as tax advisory, process improvements and project work. Duties include:
- Completion of the income tax return
- Tax effect accounting
- GST and FBT returns
- Implement and develop policies and procedures
You will be qualified (CPA/CA/Masters) and will have significant Tax experience gained in either a corporate or professional services environment. You will be accustomed to using tax software, will demonstrate strong leadership ability and will have excellent communication skills.
What you'll get in return
You will take ownership of the tax function and will develop your staff management skills as well as stakeholder management skills in this role. The Head of Finance is keen to ensure there are succession plans across the team and there have been numerous examples of progression within the business.
