An established and prominent independent School in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney has an exciting opportunity for an ongoing Timetabling Administrator to join their team to coordinate and schedule all timetabling activities.
Your new role
You will be providing a centralised Administration role to coordinate all timetabling activities and working closely with the Director of Teaching & Learning. You will be responsible for organising staff cover and updating the learning management system Edumate. As part of the role you will be responsible for staff work allocations, booking rooms for events and meetings. In addition coordinating electronic booking for parents and teachers evenings.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have had similar previous experience working in within an Education or School environment. You will need to have a high level of attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You would need to possess advanced computer skills and be competent using student and learning management databases. You would also need to be comfortable working in a religious School and learning a new culture as applicable. This position would suit a dynamic people person, who is highly organised and is able to anticipate resource needs to ensure effective delivery of the school programmes. You will be pro-active and have foresight to plan ahead and manage work load effectively to ensure efficient operations of the School. This role will role require a willingness to work flexible and have early starts. The hours for this position are on call from 6:30am, with possibility to WFH to cover the early morning and working till 2pm in the office each day.
