Your new role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate to join a thriving Estate, Succession Planning & Probate practice in Sydney. Working directly with a highly experienced practitioner, and 3 other lawyers, you will advise high-net-worth individuals, family groups and private clients on a broad range of complex succession and wealth planning matters. Your work will include:

• Complex estate and succession planning
• Probate and estate administration
• Drafting Wills and testamentary trust structures
• Family and discretionary trust advice
• Intergenerational wealth transfer and succession strategies
• Asset protection and wealth preservation structures
• Cross-border estate and succession matters
• Powers of Attorney and Enduring Guardianships
• High-value and complex deceased estates
• Advising on complex family and beneficiary arrangements

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in estate planning, probate and succession law
• Strong technical knowledge of trusts and wealth structuring
• Experience advising high-net-worth individuals, families or business owners
• Excellent drafting, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• The ability to build trusted client relationships and manage complex matters
• A collaborative approach and willingness to work closely with other practice groups
• Leadership potential and a desire to mentor junior lawyers and support staff
