FPGA Engineer

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage FPGA device selection, demand analysis and structural design
• Manage RTL implementation, simulation, validation and static timing analysis
• Manage routing optimization, debugging and on-board tuning
• Examine various hardware acceleration solutions specific to low-latency trading
• Manage software and hardware system integration, testing and performance optimizations
• Follow up with relevant technological updates and keep up with industry trend

Job Requirement:

• Holding a degree in electrical engineering or computer science
• Proficiency in VHDL or Verilog
• Proficiency in Modelsim or other simulators
• Proficient with Xilinx, Intel or other major FPGA device structures
• Proficient in high speed digital logic circuit design, timing constraints, timing and area optimization
• Proficient in FPGA debugging
• Able to speak fluent English

Bonus Points:

• Knowledge in low-latency trading system
• Knowledge in low-latency FPGA programming PCle interface development
• Proficient in Linux
• Knowledge in network card driver mechanisms and performance bottlenecks
• Able to modify low-level drivers and tune for upper level applications
