Job Summary This is a multi-functional role, based in our Shanghai office with focus on Fund Operations, supporting fund accounting processes for FMC business and on-going management of PFM business. The role will be required to perform a range of activities including preparing for the FMC project, liaising with outsourced service providers, and providing oversight on the service providers to ensure agreed service levels are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Fund Operations • Prepare for the FMC setup project, including testing system, and drafting procedure manual. • Manage daily operations of FA and fund settlement after new FMC product is launched. • Co-ordinate the testing for new businesses, new products, new distributors and new module of the systems. • Participate in the design of the new product operations model. • Manage the PFM operations activities and enquiries, including cash instructions. • Co-ordinate the change of fund documents and communicate to the relevant parties. • Escalate to senior management on any operational risk issues
Reporting • Co-ordinate CRS filing • Business/Sales and regulatory reporting • Fee/Expenses/Revenue monitoring and reporting
Vendor/Supplier management • Vendor management - manage the outsourced service providers to ensure services provided support both business and regulatory requirements and future growth • Operating Memorandum/Service Level Agreement update and review • Procedure Manual update
Qualifications
• University graduate or above, Accounting or Business Management related major is preferred • Asset Management Association of China (AMAC) license • Above 5 years working experience in fund accounting (FMC working experience is preferred) • Keen interest in and ability to learn new systems and to take on new challenges • Strong team player • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi task and meet tight deadlines • Good analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues • Good English and Chinese written and verbal communication skill
