Exciting Opportunity to Lead the Capital Market Dialogue of a Leading Financial Services Group in Asia

Location: Shanghai, PRC (preferred); Hong Kong SAR (possible)

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Own the IR agenda of the Company and drive the full year IR cycle, in close coordination with the CFO

2. Work with the CFO Team to

1. build financial models and “CFO Dashboard” to derive forecasts
2. review and analyze quarterly/annual performance
3. develop narratives for earnings calls
4. lead the message development for annual reports 
5. supervise the maintenance of the IR website
6. maintain “IR Dashboard” to perform weekly analysis of the stock’s performance and key metrics, benchmarked against industry peers
7. devise and execute strategy to enhance liquidity

3. Establish and expand relationships with sell-side analysts to

1. convey the Company’s industry dynamics, equity story, and performance highlights
2. understand and track analysts’ valuation models and facilitate clear and constructive dialogues with the Company
3. coordinate non-deal roadshows

4. Drive the institutional investor engagement programme to

1. analyze the institutional shareholders of the Company’s global peers
2. develop and execute outreach programme to engage institutional investors and generate interest
3. secure presentation slots at investment banks' institutional investor conferences
4. centrally handle investor enquiries

5. Act as the Company’s communications guru to

1. lead the development of Company presentations, CEO letters
2. host earnings calls and also act as translator for the CEO
3. represent the Company to interface journalists of financial media and trade publications
4. act as partner to the PR team in the development and launch of ads, advertorials

 

QUALIFICAITIONS

1. 5-10 years of IR experiences at US-listed companies
2. Intimately familiar with the IR cycle of a US-listed company
3. Intellectual curiosity and analytical skills
4. Great with presentations – both developing and delivering them   
5. Very familiar with financial models
6. Industry experiences in commercial banks, investment banks, and asset managers are highly prized
7. Prior experiences as a financial journalist a big plus
8. (Near-native) fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese
