Our Technology team is searching for an IT Platform Engineer to join us. This individual will be part of a talented team that demonstrates superb technical competency, delivering mission critical technology infrastructure and ensuring the highest level of accessibility, performance and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day to day monitoring of technology infrastructure for any alerts, software and/or hardware on prem as well as resources on Cloud
- Management and maintenance of Active directory & ADFS setup built for FMC
- Microsoft SharePoint instance management and maintenance
- Microsoft Exchange management and maintenance
- Operating system patching for Linux, Microsoft as well as VMWare systems
- Management and maintenance of SCCM infrastructure for server and desktop patching and App deployment
- Work with open system equipment suppliers to solve hardware and software problems
- Keep track of events/accidents and audit trails
- Security patching for infrastructure devices such as servers, devices, storage, etc. on Prem and on Financial Cloud
- Incident /Problem /Change management
- Day to day management of EMC Unity Storage, Brocade switches, NetApp and Veritas backup software
- Minimum 5 years of IT technical experience
- Experience in MS Windows Server 2012-2019. (DNS, AD, DHCP, WSUS, WDS+MDT, IIS, RDP, SCCM, SharePoint)
- Experience with enterprise class virtualization technologies - VMware, and troubleshooting. File storage
- Experience with the installation and configuration of Windows and Linux OS on HP ProLiant DL3XXX and Dell PowerEdge rack servers.
- Knowledge of Storage Technologies such as SAN, NAS and Backup especially EMC, Netapp and Veritas Netbackup
- Knowledge in best practices and project management (ITIL, Agile, etc.)
- Good level of English mandatory
- High-level of problem-solving skills
- Proactive and autonomous in completing tasks
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Ability to work under a fast-paced, high-intensity work environment
- Self-Starter and able to work independently
