Sales Assistant

Our client is a qualified Euro commerical banking. Currently, they are looking for a Sales Assistant role for supporting international desk Sales and RM.


  • Administration support (diary management, arrangement of meetings, conference calls, lunches, dinners, travel and expenses and organisation of social events and client entertainment)for the RMs
  • Act as point of contact and co-ordinate correspondence and messages
  • Preparing information before customer visits and processing data afterwards (including obtaining, preparing and processing information)
  • Producing analyses to identify business potential
  • Answering telephone calls, evaluating customers' requests and processing or preparing the activities that result from this
  • Support preparation and implementation of customer events and other marketing campaigns
  • Admin duties including ordering of stationery, archiving, renewal of subscriptions/publications, cab bookings, co-ordination of set up for new starters/interns, ensuring appropriate approval forms (i.e. for entertainment) are prepared, submitted and authorised on a timely basis
  • Monitoring transactions (keeping track of deadlines, following up unresolved issues) and dealing with related correspondences
  • Providing individual banking services for certain clients as directed by the Relationship Manager
  • To assist the RM for KYC, AML and related Compliance tasks within the first line of defence concept of the bank
  • Establish and maintain a sound compliance culture and proactively identify potential risks in the first line of defence
  • To help the RM be the first point of contact with the client regarding any KYC / AML related enquires or clarifications
  • To adhere to all relevant regulatory and compliance requirements, and to keep abreast of and understand said requirements

  • University Degree
  • IT applications in the area of responsibility
  • Work procedures in area of responsibility in accordance with regulations, guidelines (internal and external) and with business done with Corporate clients
  • Basic business principles
  • General business knowledge of the sector
  • Data protection requirements when working with IT in the area of responsibility
  • English and Mandarin on a high level
