Job Responsibilities

  • Partner on new and ongoing business transformation projects by providing assurance and advisory services on processes, control and risk mitigation measures
  • Preform independent and objective assessment of corporate governance practice and internal control processes
  • Make sure implementation and execution of the above are being done with discipline and efficiency
  • Produce internal audit report for management and board to assess related risks
  • Drive the proper identification and mitigation of risks/processes/internal control gaps that have potential financial, operation technical, strategic, and compliance risk implications
  • Engage with business and control owners, internal & external auditors, as well as Amber Group leadership on audit initiatives
  • Engage with cross-functional partners for analyzing problems, assessing risk, developing improvement opportunities and/or corrective actions, building consensus and supporting implementation of remediation solutions

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in internal or external audit including process, systems, operational, financial, compliance, Big 4 consulting or large global public company or a combination thereof
  • Experience with leading operational audit projects through audit lifecycle (Scoping, Planning, Fieldwork and Reporting)
  • Experience in at least one of the following industry and regulatory frameworks and standards (e.g. SOX, COSO, NIST, etc.). strong working knowledge of function/business/product and the related operations and financial requirements; previous experience managing a diverse staff
  • Communication, presentation and social skills to be able to interact with technical and non-technical colleagues and management are required
  • Highly motivated, quick learner, efficient and can work independently when needed
  • Skills in MS Excel, Word and Presentation with a general understanding of data analysis techniques
  • Professional certifications e.g. CPA, CIA, CFE, CISA are a plus
