Operational Risk Analyst (m/f/d)

Job purpose
You will work in the Global Financial Control function of AIM within the Risk&Investment Analyitcs team, being responsible for operational risk management. The role involves supporting the investment management business (1st Line of Defense) with implementation and maintenance of the non-financial risk management framework globally.  You will maintain the internal risk and control frameworks and provide independent oversight capacity. You will be in close contact with AIM Global functions and Group Risk to understand our investment processes. You will work on strategic projects with close interaction to top management. 

Key responsibilities

• Develop an expertise of functions in scope and advise on decisions with operational risk impacts such as new activities and other change management/transformational initiatives.
• Assess, monitor and effectively challenge the functions Risk and Control Assessment process including risk identification, risk assessment, risk mitigations and Key Risk Indicators (KRI) (incl. remediation or effectiveness of controls). 
• Execute on Independent 2nd Line of Defense Testing Program against functions control framework
• Oversight, challenge and report on Operational Losses including both Actual and Potential Incidents and the oversight of root cause analysis and action plans.
• Promote a healthy risk culture through regular staff training and communications

• Comfortable interacting with all levels of staff, including Senior Management.
• Excellent oral, written, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Initiative driven and ability to execute in and adapt to a complex, matrix, evolving environment
