Our client is a bespoke pan European Private Equity Investment firm. The firm is a generalist investor, operating in mid-cap and upper-mid-cap segments. Currently, they seek to expand their Munich office by adding new colleagues on the Associate level.
Responsibilities:
Conducting market research and financial analysis to evaluate potential investment opportunities
Presenting selected investment opportunities to the Investment Committee
Preparing detailed investment memos and financial models to support investment decisions
Leading due diligence efforts, including financial and legal reviews of potential investments
Participating in deal negotiations and structuring of the transaction execution.
Supporting portfolio company management teams in areas such as strategic planning, financial analysis, and operational improvement initiatives
Monitoring and reporting on the performance of portfolio companies
Supporting fundraising efforts, including preparation of marketing materials and participating in investor meetings
Building and maintaining relationships with investors, advisors, and other stakeholders in the industry
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field from a top university
3-5 years of experience in a top-tier management consultancy firm (MBB) or a bulge bracket investment bank followed by Private Equity experience.
At least 1 year of experience in a Private Equity firm is mandatory to be considered for the position.
Strong financial modeling and analysis skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
MBA or CFA designation preferred
Fluent in German and English languages
