The candidate will be based in Hong Kong and work regionally with our Insurance consulting team to support multinational and domestic clients by:
- Management information and data analytics
- Financial transformation and related automation implementation;
- Regulatory and statutory reporting advisory;
- Staying current on the business, regulatory and industry trends and demonstrate insights;
- Collaborating with both Actuarial and Finance Transformation communities within the PwC network to pursue business opportunities;
- Demonstrating technical capabilities and professional knowledge.

Preferred skills
- Mature and team lead experience with around 5 years of relevant experience in actuarial functions, OR professional firms providing relevant client services
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Associate/ Senior Associate
- Good team player
- Meticulous attention to detail, strong organization skills, and strong sense of ownership;
- Qualified or part-qualified actuary; OR Degree holder in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, and/or other related major;
- Knowledge in insurance financial reporting basis, e.g. IFRS, HKICO, Solvency II, RBC;
- Project and/or BAU experience in closing and (multi) GAAP reporting of life insurance companies
- Bi/Multi-lingual (English + at least one Asian language)
- Consulting experience prefer but not a must
- Hands-on implementation experience to any of the following software package preferred but not a must
- Actuarial model with software such as Prophet, ALFA, MOSES, etc.
- At least one end to end change implementation project that involves process and system changes.
- Based in HK but travelling expected
