Your new company

Your new company is a Leading Insurance firm with a strong presence across the Greater Bay Area. They are now strengthening their team by hiring an Assistant Finance Manager with experience in finance reporting and exposure in General Insurance who is energetic and willing to learn and grow together.

Your new role

• Daily finance operations including premium collection, policy accounting, commissions, claims payments, expenses, and general ledger activities.
• Month-end closing and reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Financial reporting: prepare and review management accounts, financial statements, and operational reports.
• HKRBS reporting and other statutory submissions in compliance with Insurance Authority requirements.
• Annual audit: support internal and external audits, address findings, and implement remediation actions.
• System automation: collaborate with IT on coding, process enhancements, and finance transformation projects.

What you'll need to succeed

• 3-5 years of finance reporting/ financial control experience, preferably in the insurance industry
• Experience in insurance financial systems
• Strong analytical & organisational skills, pay attention to details
