About the team
The Corporate Banking Administration Section functions as a key middle-office unit in the Corporate Banking business, acting as a bridge between corporate clients, Relationship Managers, and back office teams. The team supports the processing and coordination of daily banking transactions, including loans, foreign exchange, deposits, remittances, and fund transfers, while helping to ensure smooth execution and effective communication across the business. The section also includes administrative support functions and is committed to delivering efficient service in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Role requirements
- Provide day-to-day banking support to Hong Kong and China corporate clients, primarily through telephone communication.
- Act as a middle-office liaison between clients, Relationship Managers, and internal teams to support smooth transaction processing and issue resolution.
- Handle corporate banking transactions, including bilateral loans, time deposits, foreign exchange, and remittances.
- Maintain close coordination with relevant parties to ensure client requests are properly followed through and operational matters are addressed.
- Support the delivery of indicative money market and FX rates when required.
- Maintain accurate transaction records and support reporting requirements.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
Essential Functions
- Review client instructions and supporting documentation for transaction processing.
- Monitor and follow up on new, ongoing, and rollover transactions to support completion.
- Prepare and provide money market and FX indicative rates to clients, maintaining accurate records.
- Coordinate with internal departments to support transaction execution and resolve operational issues.
- Support daily operational work to facilitate smooth processing across front and back office functions.

Work experience, education and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in banking or customer service; experience in middle-office operations or Relationship Manager support for corporate clients is an advantage.
- Familiarity with banking products, especially money market transactions and foreign exchange.
- Strong communication skills required.
- Proactive, accurate, detail-oriented, and a team player.
- Fluent in Cantonese, with good spoken Mandarin and written English and Chinese.
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
- Suitable candidate with less experience will be offered Associate job level.
