Business Function Risk Management Group (RMG) is responsible for the development and maintenance of risk management and internal control frameworks. We provide independent review and challenge to business to ensure that appropriate balance is considered in risk/return decisions. In addition, RMG is responsible for the monitoring and reporting on key risk issues of the Bank. To manage risk effectively and deliver strong financial performance, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure.
Responsibilities - Manage and monitor non-performing loans (NPLs) to maximize recovery and to reduce the number of NPL accounts for the Bank
- Formulate account strategies and action plans for the designated NPL accounts and review and monitor recovery actions
- Negotiate with the relevant parties for restructuring / repayment plan
- Liaise with solicitor firms for taking legal action against NPL debtors
- Process claims under Government Scheme (HKMC/TID)
- Arrange disposal of repossessed properties
- Report and update management of the progress of NPL accounts
- Prepare credit proposal including recovery actions, debt restructuring and charge off
- Ensure recovery procedures are complied with internal and external regulations
- Provide administration and operation support including system projects/enhancements as required from time to time
Requirements - Degree holder in banking, accounting or law is preferred
- Minimum 3 years of relevant banking experience with practical knowledge on property disposal
- Good credit analytical and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
