WE ARE LOOKING FOR .....

Monitor and lead the claims teams so as to ensure the claims teams in HK and OSS effectively handle matters ranging from clerical support, claims processing, communication with different parties and service recovery which are in line with the Company and department goals

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Monitor the productivity, quality and efficiency by reviewing the performance log, audit reports and management reports in order to ensure consistent, accurate and efficient output
• Monitor the operation of the OSS
• Assess, approve and communicate with distributional channels on claim decisions on a fair and just basis yet offers flexible approaches
• Identify training and development needs of team members and provide training or opportunity by on-the-job training, attending training sessions or participating in projects to meet business need
• Conduct resources planning, allocate team workload and arrange job rotation
• Handle enquiries and complaints from customers, distribution channels, other departments and other insurance regulatory bodies and recommend for improvement plan
• Provide claims training support to distributional channels and other working partners

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 6 to 8 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience
• Claims knowledge in a life insurance company
• Preferable to have achieved FLMI and ALHC
• Proficient communications and problem solving skills
• Strong leadership and team building skills

• You are required to obtain the relevant license(s) if your job involves regulated activities
