Cloud Platform Management Architect

Responsibilities

Oversee and be responsible to ensure BOCHK platform management architectures support the digital transformation initiatives of BOCHK
Assess solution alternatives; define & design the best solution; and liaise with all parties concerned to drive for the implementation of relevant Cloud platform management solutions for BOCHK
Assess solution alternatives; define and design the best solution; and liaise with all parties concerned to drive for the migration of relevant systems on to the implemented Cloud platform management solutions
Liaise with all applicable parties concerned such as BOCHK senior management; and IT professionals; for the overall smooth and successful project implementations
Oversee and ensure that proper and effective communications be conducted to all parties concerned for the ultimate successful implementation of Cloud platform management solutions BOCHK
Provide thought leadership in Cloud platform management solution arenas

Experience

Undergraduate degree in Information Technology or related discipline;
12+ years of experience in IT industry with which 6+ years in multiple platform management platform solutions
Solid understanding and project experience of Cloud platform management arenas, such as:
End-to-end system design and management
Autonomous management of multiple systems across sites on different platforms
Measures of proactive prevention, prediction and notifications of incidents
Solid knowledge and project experience in end-to-end aspects of Cloud platform management across within and across sites, especially for private clouds; public clouds and multi-cloud environments
Solid knowledge and project experience to cope with security aspects of Cloud platform management architectures
Solid knowledge and project experience to cope with operational and management aspects of Cloud platform management architectures
Exposure to any of the following: Red Hat Openshift, Containers, Ansible, Elasticsearch, Grafana, Prometheus, Huawei HCS, MySQL, Redis.
Knowledge of heritage banking network technical architecture is highly preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good command in both written and spoken Chinese and English, proficiency of Mandarin is a plus
Self-motivated and willing to work under pressure
