Corporate Accounting Manager (Trustee & MPF) (Job ID 4040)

Responsibilities

• Maintain good cost control and effective usage of resources in performing daily job duties
• Monitor the financial activities of accounts and report any irregularities to Department Head
• Write and update the operation procedures of the Section and set up internal control measures
• Ensure proper and complete accounting records are maintained for company and private trust accounts
• Handle enquiries and requests from auditors and regulators
• Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity; and
• Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work

Requirements

• University graduate in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• ACCA, HKICPA or equivalent professional qualifications
• Over 8 years’ working experience in banking / accounting covering the following:
• Solid knowledge of company accounting and is capable of organizing a team to ensure the smooth operation
• Good understanding of risk awareness
• Strong analytical, management, communication and problem solving skills;
• Able to develop and maintain a good working relationship
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese
