Delta-One / Equity Swap Trade Support

The Delta-One / Equity Swap Trade Support role supports the end-to-end middle office operations within the equities post-trade division at a leading global investment bank. The position offers the opportunity to work directly with front office trading desks and institutional clients in a dynamic environment based in Hong Kong.

Role Overview
The role involves managing trade operations, trade lifecycle events, and exception resolution for synthetic equity swaps, ETFs, and related products. It requires supervising a team of operations professionals, liaising with front office and clients, and driving digital transformation efforts, including AI and automation initiatives. Success hinges on delivering accurate, timely trade support while adhering to risk and compliance standards and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Skills & Experience

• Manage trade operations and lifecycle activities for equity swaps, ETFs, and synthetic products
• Supervise a team of operations professionals and ensure performance benchmarks are met
• Act as primary operational contact for front office trading desks and clients
• Enforce risk management controls and regulatory compliance standards
• Lead digital transformation initiatives, including workflow automation and AI integration
• Deep knowledge of APAC equity markets, derivatives, and product structuring
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
• Fluent in English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin proficiency strongly preferred
• Proven experience in team supervision and stakeholder management
• Demonstrate a tech-forward approach with process automation or fintech/AI experience

Nice to Have

• Experience with Tier 1 investment banks or prime brokerage environments
• Familiarity with YSW 2015 standards or related internal frameworks

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily processing, trade matching, exception handling, and reporting for specified products
• Supervise and develop the operations team to ensure efficient trade resolution
• Serve as operational liaison to front office and clients for trade lifecycle events and escalations
• Implement risk management controls and ensure compliance with regional regulations
• Identify operational bottlenecks and champion automation and AI-driven workflow improvements
• Collaborate with legal, compliance, risk, and technology teams to optimise post-trade infrastructure and provide metrics to senior stakeholders

Requirements

• Right to work in Asia (Tier 1 investment bank inv) and YSW 2015 standard certification
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• Minimum of 5 years of middle office or trade support experience within an investment bank or prime brokerage environment
• On-site work arrangement in Hong Kong for the duration of 2 weeks starting from 16/09/2026
