Digital Transformation Design Architect

Responsibilities

Oversee and be responsible to ensure BOCHK digital transformation platform to support the digital transformation initiatives of BOCHK
Assess solution alternatives; choose and design the best solution; and liaise with all parties concerned to drive for the implementation of relevant digital transformation solutions for the BOCHK IT environment
Assess solution alternatives; choose and design the best solution; and liaise with all parties concerned to drive for the migration of relevant systems in accordance with the digital transformation initiatives onto the BOCHK IT environment
Liaise with all applicable parties concerned, such as BOCHK senior management BOCHK end users; and BOCHK IT professionals for the overall smooth and successful project implementations
Oversee and ensure that proper and effective communications be conducted to all parties concerned for the ultimate successful implementation of digital transformation solutions for the BOCHK IT environment

Experience

Undergraduate degree in Information Technology or related discipline; Business related degree may also be considered if applicant possesses solid IT industry project experience
12+ years of experience in IT industry with which 6+ years in digital transformation projects
Solid business knowledge and user experience in banking industry highly preferred
Able to communicate effectively with non-IT users for relevant digital transformation projects
Solid knowledge and project experience of innovation projects, preferably cloud-based projects:
Solid understanding and project experience of cloud related solutions, such as the following:
Cloud PaaS environment
Cloud IaaS environment
Leading cloud services in the market, including as many as possible of the following:
- MongoDB
- ELK
- Redis
- Grafana
- Prometheus
- MySQL
- etc
Solid knowledge of private cloud/public cloud and multi-cloud patterns; various digital transformation patterns & cloud adoption patterns
Solid knowledge and project experience to cope with security aspects of digital transformation solutions
Solid knowledge and project experience to cope with operation and management aspects of digital transformation solutions
Knowledge of banking system technical architecture
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good command in both written and spoken Chinese and English, proficiency of Mandarin is a plus
Self-motivated and willing to work under pressure
Experience and knowledge in financial/banking industry highly preferred
