Finance Director, Leading Chinese Bank

My client is a sizeable Chinese investment bank located in Central, looking for a Finance Director to manage a team of twelve to work on the external and internal reporting together with finance system development as well as taxation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform the group consolidation and prepare for the relevant supporting schedules and reporting;
• Update accounting policy and procedure manuals, setting up new accounting procedures;
• Work on month-end closing of individual companies and prepare monthly management accounts;
• Prepare annual budget schedules and settlement vouchers of bonds trading and derivative trading;
• Monitor the daily liquid capital positions of the licensed corporations so as to comply with the statutory requirements
• Provide coaching and training to the team members

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degrees in Accounting, Finance or other related disciplines
• A qualified accountant with at least 7 years' related work experience in Banking , with management experience of leading a team
• Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements
• Self-driven and adaptable team leader with strong analytical skills
• Excellent command of Chinese (either Mandarin or Cantonese) and English
• Direct Big Four auditors with banking focus and managerial experience would be considered
