Head of Financial Reporting, Hong Kong - Senior Vice President
The Finance Reporting Group Manager is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team or department in an effort to provide regulatory analysis and reporting in coordination with the Finance team. Additionally, the Finance Reporting Group Manager develops reporting and control procedures to accurately prepare information required for financial and regulatory reporting and analysis. The objective of this role is to ensure business/department financials are prepared and delivered in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities: • Act with integrity, due skill, care and diligence in carrying out roles and responsibilities • Maintain accuracy and timeliness in the preparation of financial and regulatory reporting • Excellent analytical background and skill sets to come up with meaningful business insights • Strong understanding of Local Financial (IFRS) and Regulatory Reporting requirements • Ensuring accounting is in compliance with Local IFRS and Regulatory Reporting requirements • Build and maintain high level of engagement within the team; Identify, motivate, train and develop talent • Strong team Player; Build strong relationships and interact with all levels in the organization • Build and maintain relationships with Regulators & Auditors • Strong influencing skills and ability to work through conflicts; Ability to multi-task under strict deadlines and work in a fast paced environment
Minimum Education: • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration • Chartered Accountant or CPA preferred
Minimum Experience: • At least 10 years of work experience as a finance professional in either a bank, financial institution or accountancy firm with direct responsibility for reporting or audit work of financial institutions -------------------------------------------------
