Job Description
As an Investor Relations Specialist (Communication), your main responsibilities will include:
Investor Communications:
- Supporting and executing investor communication strategies to existing and prospective investors globally.
- Preparing high-quality presentations, reports, and fund updates for investor meetings and events.
- Work closely with senior investment professionals to translate complex investment ideas into concise, high-quality messaging.
- Coordinate investor meetings, follow-ups, due diligence processes, and ongoing information requests to make sure timely response.
- Support the preparation and management of data rooms, DDQ responses, diligence materials, and investor-specific workstreams.
- Leverage AI and digital tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft 365, Notion, Canva and other emerging platforms) to enhance research, content development, communication effectiveness, and overall productivity.
- Drive process improvement and automation by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, optimize information flow, and improve the efficiency of investor communications and team operations.
- Build scalable knowledge and productivity systems, including content repositories, communication templates, meeting preparation frameworks, and AI-enabled best practices to support continuous improvement across the team.
- Drive end-to-end execution of multiple concurrent initiatives, coordinating timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and stakeholder engagement across internal teams, investors, and external partners.
- Lead complex project and event coordination, including investor meetings, AGMs, LP/GP forums, roadshows, and due diligence activities, while proactively resolving bottlenecks and ensuring high-quality delivery in a fast-paced environment.
A successful Investor Relations Specialist (Communication) should have:
- 1-4 years of experience in Bulge Bracket Banks: private wealth management, investment banking, asset management, investor relations, consulting, communications, marketing, or public relations. (training from a top-tier financial institution is preferred.)
- Excellent bilingual communication skills (English and Chinese), with the ability to produce high-quality written materials and interact confidently with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder management capabilities, with a proven ability to handle multiple workstreams and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly proficient in AI and modern productivity tools, including ChatGPT, Microsoft 365, Notion, Canva, and other technology platforms that enhance efficiency and collaboration.
- Strong commercial and investment acumen, with a solid understanding of financial markets and the ability to quickly grasp investment concepts and industry developments.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and entrepreneurial, with a strong sense of ownership, sound judgment, discretion, and a genuine interest in venture capital, technology, China, and global investing.
