Key Responsibilities

1. Backend System Development :

1. Design and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems using Java.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

2. Application Optimization :

1. Optimize system performance, including thread management, memory usage, and database access.
2. Ensure low-latency and high-throughput capabilities for critical applications.

3. System Integration and Networking :

1. Develop and maintain APIs and system interfaces, ensuring seamless communication with external systems.
2. Handle networking protocols and ensure efficient data transmission between components.

4. Linux-Based Development :

1. Work in Linux environments for application development, deployment, and troubleshooting.
2. Use Linux tools and scripting for automation and performance monitoring.

5. Troubleshooting and Support :

1. Diagnose and resolve technical issues in production and development environments.
2. Provide technical guidance and support to other development team members.

6. Documentation and Best Practices :

1. Write and maintain technical documentation, including design specs and user guides.
2. Follow best practices in software development, including coding standards, testing, and version control.

Requirements Must-Have Skills :

1. Java Development :

1. Proficiency in Java with 5+ years of development experience.
2. Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate.

2. Linux Expertise :

1. Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, including development and troubleshooting.
2. Proficient in Linux commands and capable of writing shell scripts.

3. Networking Knowledge :

1. Solid understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, HTTP, and socket communication.
2. Experience handling high-concurrency and low-latency scenarios is a plus.

4. Database and Messaging Queues :

1. Proficiency in relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) with strong SQL optimization skills.
2. Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.

5. Problem-Solving Skills :

1. Strong analytical skills to debug and resolve complex technical issues.

Soft Skills :

1. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
2. Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
3. Previous experience in financial systems or trading platforms is a bonus.
