Java Developer - 50-60K * 12 + Bonus (Can negotiate up if needed)

Our client is one of the largest financial firms globally. Due to business needs, a Java Developer is needed to join their team

Responsibilities:

• Work with Product Owner and team members to ensure full understanding of the story requirements, within the context of the existing systems.

• Produce and document technical designs and implement requirements according to designs.

• Ensure that the deliverables meet all the specified acceptance criteria.

• Escalate technical design or specification issues to Scrum Master, Product Owner, and other Agile team members as soon as they arise.

• Adhere to the coding standards and Scrum process.

• Actively participate in all Scrum ceremonies.

• Set and own your development goals, providing regular status updates to the scrum master.

• Participate in testing as needed to deliver team’s commitment by sprint end.

• Document, implement and execute unit and user acceptance tests.

• Participate in periodic release activities.

• Support business critical applications during business and off-hours, if needed.

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in Java required. Other languages are a plus.

• Must be fluent in spoken and written English

• Must be energetic, self-motivated and possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Must be able to work within an established team and be willing to take direction.
