Junior Dealer

Company Description 

Our client, a well-established asset management company, is seeking a Junior Dealer to support Asia Equities Investment Team based in HK Office

Responsibilities 

• Ensure best execution in order to provide value add to portfolio managers as required 
• Allocate executed trades to various funds and accounts under management according to prescribed trade allocation policies 
• Keep track on news flow / corporate actions of companies. Assess market conditions and provide updates to PMs
• Monitor broker executions, and review capabilities. Maintain relationships with sell side brokers
• Ensure trades are in compliance with regulations in various local jurisdictions
• Resolve post-trade issues in a timely manner
• Provide fund managers with insights on market sentiment, trading volume and volatility
• Assist fund managers to generate investment reports

Requirements 

• University graduate with degree Business Administration/Finance/Economics or related discipline
• At least 2 years of relevant trading experience in asset management sector, preferably with sizable asset managers 
• Detail-oriented and is able to work in a team-based environment
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Good knowledge on trading system, and programming skills
• Fluent in English and Chinese, Mandarin is a plus
