My client is a large sized and reputable retail and commercial bank in Hong Kong. Given their sizeable presence in the Asia region, they are now looking for a new Manager or AVP to join the Asset and Liability Management team to support balance sheet management and ALM related duties for the bank.
Key responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Team Head of Balance Sheet Management and work in a team of less than 8
- Oversee balance sheet management and analysis
- Support and prepare ALCO reports and ALM (asset and liability management) related analysis for ALCO Committee
- Assist with monthly FTP (funds transfer pricing)
- Implement and support bank’s funding strategies
- Ensure compliance of all established controls and support stress testing duties where necessary
Skills & Experiences:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or related
- 5-8 year’s of experience in balance sheet management / treasury / asset and liability management acquired from banks
- Business fluency in English and native level English communication skills
- Analytical and have good problem solving skills, able to work under pressure, proactive nature and hands-on attitude
