My client is a Large, Reputable Commercial Bank in Hong Kong, providing a wide range of services including retail, wholesale and commercial banking business in the Asia region. Given their sizeable and reputable presence in the region, they are now looking to hire a new Manager or Senior Manager to support cost controlling and control duties for the bank's various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Head of Performance Management Reporting Department
- Be primarily responsible of overseeing and managing all aspects cost related for the bank's various projects: budgeting, cost tracking and estimations, expenses tracking and controlling, cost allocation, etc.
- Provide recommendations and analytics from financials and take part in delivering commentaries and relevant insights to support the bank's cost initiatives
- Take part in bi-weekly management meetings
- Engage in active stakeholder management with various business heads and project stakeholders
Required Skills & Experiences:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or related
- A minimum of 8+ years and above experiences in management reporting/accounting, especially within cost controlling / cost management
- Proactive, independent, and hands-on attitude
- Excellent stakeholder management and not shy to challenge all levels
- Native level English and Cantonese communication skills
- Analytical and good problem-solving skills
