Summary: Support ITD in managing the division's budget including budget preparation, ongoing monitoring and reporting, booking of expenses and managing utilization. Work closely with project managers in tracking projects' financial and preparing reports. Support procurement team on budget checking, booking of expenses and invoice settlement.
Key Role and Responsibilities: • Division Financial Management: Prepare budget for IT Division. Provide ongoing monitoring and forecast. Prepare dashboard for management and assist in managing utilization. Work closely with Financial Accounting Department to ensure compliance with the Bank's financial accounting principles. Be the subject matter expert on Finance in the IT Division and provide support on all Financial matters • Project Financial Management: Monitor all projects related financial details. Provide support and advice to project managers on financial management and assist in report preparation • Procurement Financial Management: Support procurement team on budget checking, booking of expenses and invoice settlement. Provide guidance to team on financial principles • Subsidiaries Support: Work with other subsidiaries on budget and cost recovery. Provide advices on cost management in accordance to Banks' financial accounting principles
Job Requirements: • Tertiary education in Information Technology, Business Administration and/or related disciplines • Minimum 8 years of experience in IT industry with at least 7 years in project finance or related positions • Minimum 8 years of experience in the banking sector with general understanding in business applications and related technologies • Process oriented with experience in financial control, quality assurance, compliance monitoring and risk management • Possess good understanding in financial management with hands-on experience in project financial management preferably on projects with budget over HK$10M • Experience in vendor partnership or management • Committed deliverer with abilities and desire to make things happen • Positive personality with desire and passion in driving business growth through smart application of technology and adequate design of operational process • Good communication (Cantonese and English, with Putonghua an advantage), collaboration and influencing skills • Resourceful, creative and proactive in continuous improvement and advancement • Good team player striving for team success and win-win results • Keen to learn but at the same time willing to share learning with others • Skillful in using Microsoft Excel formula & macro for template design, financial tracking, metrics dashboard and what-if analysis
