My client is a Large, Reputable Commercial Bank in Hong Kong, providing a wide range of services including retail, wholesale and commercial banking business in the Asia region. Given their sizeable and reputable presence in the region, they are now looking to hire a new Manager to join the treasury accounting department, focusing on product control related duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take part in treasury accounting related duties for the bank, including but not limited to supporting treasury related implementation systems and projects
- Preparation of daily P&L and product control duties / front to back P&L analysis, and reconciliations, etc.
- Preparation of daily treasury P&L, including analysis, adjustment and commentaries
- Assist to oversee financial control duties for treasury related activities for the bank
- Assist with any additional ad-hoc duties related to treasury products, and partner with various stakeholders wherever needed
- Monitor all treasury related activities for the bank and ensure proper control and reconciliations where necessary
- Take part in hedge accounting duties
Required Skills & Experiences:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business/Risk or related
- A minimum of 5+ years and above experiences in product control / treasury finance / treasury accounting / hedge accounting
- Proactive, independent, and hands-on attitude
- Native level English and Cantonese communication skills
- Analytical and good problem-solving skills
