REGULATORY REPORTING - PRIVATE BANK

Our client is an international Private Bank with strong presence in the APAC region. They are now looking for a Regulatory Reporting Manager to join their Finance team in Hong Kong.

You will be responsible for HKMA regulatory returns and surveys preparations and respond to queries from HKMA on returns and to Swiss National Bank, Head Office etc. You will monitor daily regulatory limits and document return procedures and update manuals. You will perform daily accounting routines like reconciliation checks, posting of entries, raisin payment orders etc. You will support Finance related and regulatory change projects implementation and documentation. You will also liaise with internal and external auditors on audits/review. You will assist in month-end and year-end financial closing matters and prepare for monthly information deck for committee meetings.

To qualify, you must have a Degree in Accountancy related discipline with CPA qualifications or equivalent. You should have good knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and regulatory requirements with solid HKMA reporting or SNB reporting experience in private banking or investment banking. You should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You must have strong communication skills in English and Chinese. You should have strong PC skills including Microsoft Excel with a good knowledge of Banking Systems such as SAP, Axiom and T-24 etc.
