A leading Hong Kong-based retail and corporate bank is looking for a regulatory reporting manager (HKMA Returns). The bank provides stable environment, good work-life balance, attractive benefits and internal mobility. This role will rotate you to work on different HKMA returns and eventually you will gain exposure to full set of HKMA returns.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the HKMA regulatory reporting process, and to ensure the compilation of banking returns and surveys are in compliance with the completion instructions and relevant guidelines as set out by the HKMA
To ensure proper control checking and review procedures are in place so as to minimize errors in reporting
To assist in the implementation of system enhancement projects relating to banking return reporting and other ad hoc tasks as required by the management from time to time
Assist in communicating the reporting requirements for both month-end closing and statutory reporting to all departments, branches and subsidiaries

Requirements

5+ years’ experience in banking and financial accounting / regulatory reporting functions; Big 4 candidates with experience in reviewing HKMA returns will be considered
Sound knowledge and experience in handling HKMA banking returns and surveys
Hands-on experience in liaising with the HKMA, and external and internal auditors
