(Senior) Associate, Sales Support

Company Description

Our client, a well-regarded international asset manager, is seeking an Associate / Senior Associate, Sales Support. The Sales Support role will be part of the Asia Regional Institutional Sales Team, responsible for supporting the team in its sales and marketing efforts. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales team to provide operational support, assist in the preparation of marketing materials and client presentations, and ensure timely and accurate completion of client requests. This is a critical role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and prospect lists in the CRM system
• Support the sales activities and engage in identifying new business opportunities
• Provide input to RFPs and coordinate the process with global RFP team
• Coordinate with internal teams such as product management, legal, and compliance to ensure that marketing materials are compliant and up-to-date
• Work with the marketing team on various marketing activities, including conference / events, marketing collaterals etc
• Monitor and report on industry and competitor developments and trends

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related field.  MBA or CFA candidate a plus
• 5+ years of experience in a sales support or marketing support role within the asset management industry
• Good knowledge on asset management related products is an advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
