Senior Core Java Software Engineer - US Global Investment Bank

Our client is a top tier global investment bank that is expanding their global markets technology desk across Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo. They are looking for a high-caliber Core Java Senior Software Developer to join their expanding front office business in either of the three locations.

About the role:

• Enhance and expand the firm's global electronic trading platform
• Design, develop and support front office trading applications
• Develop low latency software
• Able to work independently and in a collaborative team environment

Requirements:

• Experienced in application development using Java
• In-depth knowledge on working with front office trading technology
• Good understanding in Asian Equities or FICC Markets
• Good at low latency multi-threading, and high performance (includes GC tuning) Java development
• Worked on Linux, UNIX and Agile methodologies
